As I scratch my scarce scalp, I ponder at the series of sordid events that have led me to my current proposition. I cannot attribute one particular event that has had more influence than any other in shaping my resulting perspective. All of the bad advice, ridiculous slogans, and flagrant lies from those in positions of authority, have contributed equally to this jaded visage.
There are those glimmers of light and happiness in the scenery. These have come from unlikely and often surprising sources. I have spent time in the service of the Queen and wandered around on the other side of the pond. During this time, I was taught about choices, love, and what racism feels like. Though I may be biased, I have always found the Pacific Northwest as the most beautiful place on the planet.
I have spent many years in the educational institutions that have been offered to members of American society. This has had a definite influence on my thought process, specifically the ability to manage and organize large volumes of data. For that reason alone, I have found education a worthy endeavor, regardless of the claims that “woke” ideology indoctrinating the students.
Certainly, I am no conspiracy theorist, however I do not believe everything that the American government states as fact. History has shown that the government has violated this public trust one to many times, in order to be afforded any level of reliability. There are many late nights that I have spent researching the current claims being made, or “facts” that have been established and taught to me in school.
I have concluded that my life has been a series of fairytales and grandiose exaggerations, and mostly bold faced lies.
